+o Visit our Frequently Asked Questions Web page at URL
http://www.sgi.com/Technology/PC_Conn/faq for current
information about SoftWindows.
+o To run SoftWindows2 on a remote X server, you must copy
the /usr/lib/SoftWindows2/fonts/<Architecture Name>
directory from a machine with SoftWindows2 installed to
the X server.
+o If you attempt to resize the SoftWindows display again,
before it has finished a previous resize request,
SoftWindows may crash.
+o SoftWindows cannot upgrade Windows on hard disk files
(HDFs) that have Windows for Workgroups installed.
+o When using versions to remove SoftWindows, there are
some files left in the /usr/lib/SoftWindows2 directory.
This is a problem with the inst program. Use rm -rf
/usr/lib/SoftWindows2 to clean that directory
completely. NOTE that this will destroy your license
file.
+o When booting from an upgraded hard drive file, you may
see the following error message:
Bad or missing C:\INSIGNIA\EM_DRVR.SYS
Error in CONFIG.SYS line 5
The line in the config.sys responsible is:
DEVICE=C:\INSIGNIA\EM_DRVR.SYS
This line refers to an obsolete SoftWindows driver,
hence you may disregard this error message. You may
delete this line to eliminate the error message.
+o Autofreeze doesn't work under Windows. It does work
when in DOS.
+o If you encounter an error in trying to run the Netscape
based registration pages, it may be because you have
Web server software installed in a way incompatible
with the normal Outbox setup. To find out how to
resolve this problem, refer to the release notes for
the WEBForce server and Outbox. NOTE that you if
received the WEBForce upgrade CD, please install this
first, then check the WEBForce release notes.

+o If you I assign the floppy drive to "A:" using
Options->Disks Drives->Open Drive..., you must restart
SoftWindows before you can access floppies via A:.
